I know it’s not the end of the day, but I already figured out I’m going to have to take this slower in order to be effective. So I’m revising my guidelines.
- Still drink 8 cups of water a day. It’s not that hard.
- DO eat a salad a day. Starting tomorrow, because today I had delicious wheat penne pasta with marinara sauce. But yes, tomorrow, salad.
- Cutting back on the sugar will start when the Lenten season starts in two weeks. I’m no longer Christian, but my family is and I will still participate. I will give up sugary foods that have no nutritional value, unless I am given some by my boyfriend’s mom, or it is someone’s birthday. Like my boyfriend’s.
- I can have salt, but only when I eat pasta. Which will be less and less now that I will be eating a salad a day.
- The stairs thing can start later too. Like at the end of the month.
I realize that because of these changes the process will be slower, but I am okay with that. I’d rather lose a pound or two a week rather than do this all at once. I know that if I did that, it’d fall apart before my eyes.
